who we are on a Typical sunday

Below are some questions and answers as to what a typical Sunday might look like.

We encourage you to come see for yourself!

  • what is the message like?

In each service you will hear a relevant, straight-forward message based on Scripture from the Bible. Each message is designed to be helpful in your daily life. We trust that our Pastor's message will help you develop a vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and that provides a strong biblical foundation for your life.

  • what is worship?

This is time set aside for communicating with God and expressing how much we love Him. Everyone worships in their own unique way. For many, that means singing, clapping and raising their hands, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words of the song. At FaithPointe, you are welcome to join us in expressing what comes from your heart in praise to God. Our worship music consists of mostly contemporary music with some traditional hymns and songs.

  • what is there for children

We take the care and safety of your children very seriously. Our staff that work with children have completed a background clearance. We want you to feel secure in who takes care of your children during the worship service.

Children are signed in at the beginning of the service and picked up by those you authorize. They join us for worship and are dismissed before the message to have a special message of their own.

  • How should i dress?

At FaithPointe we want you to feel comfortable to worship God with us. Some people like to dress up for worship while others dress more casually. We believe that God is more interested in your heart than He is in how you dress. So, you will find some people dressed more formally, while others will be in jeans and shorts. Dress how you are most comfortable and you will be loved and accepted just the way you are.

  • What do you do for offering?

Each week there is a time to worship God through the giving of the tithes and offerings. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for those who regularly attend FaithPointe, allowing them to thank God for all of the great things He is doing in their lives. It is also the financial support that allows FaithPointe to reach more people for Christ in the future.

During the service we ask each person to fill out a Connection Card. This card is a great way to communicate with our church, sign up for upcoming events, and request more information about the ministry of our church. The Connection Cards are collected during the offering time of our worship service.
